In the heart of the region Auvergne, come and discover the Château Camping La Grange Fort, wide-ranging site of 25ha with multiple facets. Located on a tree-covered hill overhanging the Allier valley, the site with its unrestricted view for miles around is a splendid belvedere on the surroundings. Installed around the medieval castle of the 15th century, the camping places and the numerous services and facilities on site enable the Van Bronkhorst family to offer to his clientele a various and quality supply.The camping is equipped with modern bathroom suites with washing-up point, chemical toilets, automatic laundry, baby and disabled persons spaces (toilets and showers). It is also possible to rent entirely fitted out tents for 4/6 persons or to stay in one of our rentings (flats, chalets, mobile homes, bungalows). The castle has, on its part, charming guest rooms, tastefully decorated and respecting the authenticity of the place. On the site, you have a free access tourist information point at the reception, and a selling point for your first need purchases. For eating, nothing better than a little break in the snack bar, where a wide range of take-away meals are prepared. The most greedy ones will probably prefer to book a table to the castle restaurant. For cool drinks, the tearoom “Les Troubadours” welcomes you in the inside courtyard of the castle, as well as the pub located in the old stables where the décor has been preserved for creating a warm place. Lastly, take advantage of the diverse relaxing and leisure activities of the site, with the warm inside and outside swimming-pools, the tennis court, the ping-pong tables, the beach-volley playground, hiking pathways near the camping and canoe-kayak trips on the river Allier. |
