Open website http://www.saint-floret.fr A 12 km from Issoire on the road 26 in direction of Besse-district, appears a village out of a postcard: Saint-Floret. Surrounded by rocks, it looks like these villages in the South where the light is to take different forms depending on the season. Saint-Floret can be proud of a past where history has left its marks. Climbing up the alley on the road to Clemensat is a feudal Castle from the 13th century. This cubic Gothic Hall is built on a grandiose scale with an edge of nearly 10 meters. 12 pointed ribs of rare elegance will relate to a beautiful major emblazoned pillar, representing a Sun with human face. 2nd room of the castle is open for 2011 and you can discover the panoramic view of the Castle Dungeon.
