The imposing keep symbolizes all the Majesty of the castle of Pesteils and evokes the middle ages in its harshest expression, glorious testimony of what was to be the stronghold of the Cantal. Beautiful frescoes from the 15th century adorn the Interior. The 17th century enriches the main body of outstanding painted ceilings. Tapestries, paintings, furniture, richly parent this set. Enlarged and restored in the 19th century, the castle is the property of Cassagne de Beaufort de Miramon Pesteils family that inhabits it still since 1608. 20 wax figures illustrate seven centuries of daily life in pesteils opening of Castle
