Color Cactus is a show hosted by enthusiasts of Auvergne. The entry remains as in previous years free for the public and the exhibitors. Place: salle des fêtes of Egliseneuve near Billom 63160 himself, 30 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand color Cactus is a lounge which includes three major activities: 1 / exhibition/information part where the public will be able to discover many plants of collection, rare or spectacular, accompanied by a description of their way of life (habitat, conditions of culture in France, botanical information and even a few anecdotes).An information stand is provided by volunteer members of the Club colours Cactus. Enthusiasts will be available to answer all questions from the public. Some Raffles are organised throughout the weekend with many plants and other prizes to win. Representatives of associations of arid, AJEM and Terra Seca will be present. 2 / A scholarship exchange where fans of the France whole and even beyond, come Exchange or sell their surplus of collection at friendly prices. Some professionals will also present to extend the offer of rare plants. Amateurs and professionals, who came in numbers to expose, will more be available to visitors to provide information about the plants they propose. 3 / Lectures will be presented during these two days: • a public conference will present these special plants and their environment. It is hosted by a devotee, the president of our association. • A specialized, more "Botany", conference by Flavien Hériot who will present "The Gymnocalycium of Central Argentina".
